After the commercials they start showing last week's Sunday Night Heat

Here are the results from wwf.com

Sunday night, viewers tuning in to the USA Network for the regularly scheduled live Sunday Night HEAT were unable to see the action due to extreme atmospheric conditions in Ohio. According to the national weather service, a mix of rain and snow was expected for the area, resulting in circumstances that wreaked havoc on satellite transmissions. As a result, viewers were treated to last weeks edition of Sunday Night HEAT.

However, WWF.COM was on hand in the arena for the matches that took place during the scheduled HEAT in Dayton, Ohio.

The show opened with Gillberg coming out of his locker room for the first contest! However, Chyna attacked him and destroyed his security force on her way to the ring! Following her path of destruction, the Ninth Wonder of the World called out HHH and stated he had "Put his hands on me for the last time!" According to the Ninth Wonder of the World, it would all end in a confrontation—which Hunter quickly agreed to!

In a non-title bout, Too Much pulled off the upset win over Tag Team Champions Owen Hart and Jeff Jarrett! In a subsequent challenge, Ivory upended Jacqueline in a wild cat fight!

In the next bout, the Undertaker demolished Kurrgan of the Oddities! After attaining the victory, the Man from the Dark Side reinforced his grim prophecy to Mr. McMahon—that he and the Ministry would soon take control of the World Wrestling Federation!

In a bizarre interview, Michael Cole talked with Goldust and the Blue Meanie. According to the Meanie, he said he wants to be just like the former Intercontinental Champion, and that in recent weeks he was attempting to flatter him with his Bluedust impression!

"Lethal Weapon" Steve Blackman was in the midst of an interview when Droz attacked him! Following the melee, it was announced that the two superstars would attempt to settle their differences in a "Kendo Stick Match" on the live RAW from the Gund Arena in Cleveland, Ohio!

Public Enemy made their HEAT debut in hardcore fashion by defeating the Hardy Boyz! The match highlighted PE 's hardcore side—with Flyboy and Johnny Grunge getting the victory after putting Matt Hardy through a wooden table! Following the contest, the Brood attacked Public Enemy once more, resulting in an all-out brawl between the teams.

In a bout made earlier in the evening, Triple H took on former bodyguard Chyna in the HEAT main event. The former associates mauled each other for a few minutes before…the lights went out and Kane arrived! Tipping the odds in Team Corporate’s favor, the Big Red Machine and Chyna destroyed the DX leader as HEAT concluded!

The Hour Before WrestleMania XV

Vince McMahon and Paul Wight Interview
Announcers hype that Wight is in Rock's corner, hinting again at an alliance between the Big Show and Austin. Vince McMahon says the images of this Wrestlemania will surpass those of all before it. He says many of the fans have prayed for Austin to become champion tonight, but that most of them are in for a major dissapointment because of three reasons:

No DQ's in the Title Match is a new stipulation
The Rock is the better man
Austin has awakened a sleeping giant with the chair shots on Wight last Monday, and that Austin is looking at the man who will referee the main event in Paul Wight.

Wight says Austin has gotten his attention, and that is not a good thing. Paul tells Mrs. Foley that her son will come home looking a lot different than he came in. The Big Show says that since Mankind likes pain he will love what is in store for him later on tonight, and that he will move over Foley on his way to becoming the referee at WrestleMania XV, to make sure the title stays around the waist of The Rock. Wight says he is not afraid of snakes, and will skin Steve Austin later on when he is finished with Mankind. Paul says he is going to sit by the back door and wait for Austin to arrive, and he will destroy him and throw him in for The Rock, and that's not the bottom line, but the last word. Vince concludes by saying Austin has no chance in hell of becoming champion tonight.

Back from commercial in the backstage area Vince McMahon is telling Wight not to attack Austin, because he needs a main event for Wrestlemania.

Ivory w/D'Lo Brown vs. Jackie w/Terri Runnels

Sunday Night Heat

April 18, 1999

Rumors have been swirling that Shane McMahon felt bad about slapping his father on RAW, and he was going to apologize on HEAT. Shane came out as HEAT got underway to immediately put those rumors to rest. He said slapping his father felt great, and using his sister to draw his father out to the ring was nice, too. Referring to Vince and Stephanie's recent troubles with the Undertaker, Shane said that is their problem, and he had his own priorities--running the Corporation. Turning his attention to Stone Cold Steve Austin, Shane said he couldn't wait until Backlash this Sunday when, as special referee, he gets to count one, two, three and once again crown The Rock as the Federation Champion.

After leaving Shane McMahon's Corporation last week, Ken Shamrock was forced into a Handicap Match against Test and the Big Boss Man. As Test went to make a tag, Boss Man backed away, telling Test that the youngster had to learn the hard way. Shamrock seized the opportunity, hitting Test with a belly-to-belly suplex and then slapping on the ankle-lock submission hold. For the second straight week, Test's Corporate partner walked away from him, and he was forced to tap out. Backstage, Boss Man and Test exchanged words and had to be separated by Shane. Shane said if Boss Man wanted Shamrock, he would get him on RAW in a no-holds-barred match. Turning to Test, Shane said the Corporate Insurance Policy has been dropping the ball lately and he had better pick it up!

Tiger Ali Singh offered any American woman $500 to massage his "royal" feet. It looked like Terri Runnels and Jacqueline of PMS accepted the offer, but when they found out they wouldn't be getting $500 each, they held down Tiger's legs and a large man from the crowd attacked the Asian aristocrat! Security ran in the ring to escort the man away, but PMS stopped them, explaining that the man was with them! After beating Tiger senseless, the man walked away triumphantly with Jacqueline and Terri.

Next up, Jim Ross conducted a special interview with The Rock. The crown jewel of the Corporation promised that this Sunday at Backlash he would become a four-time Federation Champion, and he would end Stone Cold Steve Austin's career!

One week after walking away from the Ministry of Darkness, the Brood-all three of them-took on Viscera and Midian of the Ministry. The Brood took control by ganging up on each member of the Ministry, but the Acolytes came out and, with the help of Midian and Viscera, put a beating on the Brood.

The Federation Women's Champion, Sable, came out next and said that Sable Inc. is the hottest stock on Wall Street. Sable Inc. is in such demand that the femme fatale had to hire a bodyguard to watch her back-the largest female bodybuilder in the world, Nicole Bass! The champion said that if anyone wanted to take over Sable Inc., they would have to go through Bass!

The Tag Team Championship was on the line as The Rock and Triple H challenged X-Pac and Kane. The Big Red Machine was a no show for the first few minutes of the match, and X-Pac went at it alone. Finally, Kane came out and evened the odds. But Jeff Jarrett and Owen Hart ran out and attacked the Tag Team Champions. And then the New Age Outlaws came after Owen and Jeff! The Outlaws cleaned house, leaving X-Pac and Kane alone in the ring. X-Pac tried to talk to his partner, trying to get the Big Red Machine to trust him. As HEAT came to an end, it looked as if X-Pac and Kane had a moment of solidarity.

Showed outside the arena as a limosine pulled up and the Corporate Ministry made their way out and into the arena.

Michael Cole stood on the stage, and talked about the history of the McMahon family and the WWF. The segment ran for several minutes.

Test/Ken Shamrock vs. The Acolytes
The Acolytes dominated the match with power moves and double teams. They went back to Bob Holly, as his old theme music started, and Al Snow rode a plastic car down the ramp. And they began to have a Hardcore title match.

Bob Holly vs. Al Snow

That they only need to get rid of two more, and that is Rocky Maivia and Steve Austin. And that Steve Austin must face the Undertaker at Over the Edge. Sunday Night Heat

May 9, 1999

Jacksonville, Florida

Footage was shown of last week's RAW, featuring the Ministry, the Union, and Vince McMahon.

Backstage, the Corporate Ministry was shown entering the building. Bossman took keys and locked the door to the building.

Tag Title Match
X-Pac and Kane vs The Acolytes
Acolytes rush the ring and take out Kane and X-Pac. X-Pac went for the bronco buster early, but was denied by Faarooq. Outside, The Union was shown trying to get into the arena, but the door was locked. Billy Gunn ran down the aisle and attacked X-Pac, without the referee seeing it. Kane left the ring and went after Gunn, but X-Pac was left alone in the ring. Road Dogg came down and argued with the ref, and Road Dogg became Pac's partner. X-Pac tagged in Road Dogg. Acolytes take Road Dogg down for the pin. The ministry comes down to ringside and attacks Road Dogg and X-Pac. Backstage, the Union tore down the door and ran to the ring, chasing the ministry out. Tag titles did not change hands.

Backstage, Debra was shown rubbing her legs.

Billy Gunn vs Val Venis
Venis was attacked by Gunn during his mic work. For some reason, there was a commercial during this match that was unannounced. When it came back on, Debra was walking down the aisle, with Jarrett behind her. Debra teezed Val, and Gunn put the fameasser on Val for the win. The lights went out and Kane came down the aisle. Gunn thew Val Venis into Kane, and Kane chokeslammed him. Gunn ran, and Nicole Bass came down and gave CPR to Venis. Val woke up and ran out of the ring.

Backstage, Al Snow was playing strip poker with a deer head.

Hardcore Holly came down with a referee shirt on and Al Snow's head in hand. He called out Al Snow, and he came out with the deer head. Holly said that there would be a hardcore match title match tonight between Snow and Head. Holly said he would be the referee. Holly said he would get a hardcore title rematch with the winner. Snow slapped Head around and thew it into steps like a regular hardcore title match. Snow brought in a table and put Head on it, went to the top rope and did a moonsalt but missed the table. Snow finally pinned the Head to win the Hardcore title.

Road Dogg was interviewed backstage, and said he would not be 100% in his match against Triple H later in the night.

Road Dogg vs Triple H
Triple H had new music. Triple H went straight for Road Dogg's hurt ribs with punches. Road Dogg fought back and did the shake rattle and roll on Triple H, but Billy Gunn came down. However, Dogg took care of Gunn and sent him flying into the security barrier. Chyna attacked Road Dogg and Triple H applied the pedigree for the win. The lights went out and Kane came out again. Gunn ran out of the ring and Kane went to chokeslam Road Dogg. X-Pac came out and told Kane to put him down, and he did.

Backstage, the Big Show was shown walking with a 2X4.

Outside, Billy Gunn was shown running to his car and leaving the arena.

Midian vs Big Show
Big Show took Midian out fast, right away with a chokeslam. However, he took the referee out as well. Midian had an eye in a jar with him, Big Show took it out and popped the eye out and shoved it in the mouth of Midian. Big Show called out the Ministry, and the Undertaker showed on the Titan Tron. Undertaker told Big Show to destroy Midian, because he believed in a cause. Undertaker said he had to skin a rattlesnake in two weeks time and threatened to take Big Show's eye and give it to Midian. Wight chokeslammed Midian once again.

Backstage, The Rock was walking in the building with a cast on his arm.

Droz vs Meat w/PMS
During the match, Prince Albert grabbed Terri Runnles and tried to pierce her. During this, Meat attacked Droz to get the pin. Albert came in and attacked Meat.

Rock Interview
Rock came out with a heavy cast on. Rock said he will be at Over the Edge to take on Triple H. He told Triple H that it was going to be real funny at Over the Edge. The entire corporate minsitry came out and Triple H told Rock that he should have wound up in a wheel chair. Triple H came down and started brawling with Rock, and the rest of the ministry attacked Rock. The Union came down and attacked the ministry as the show went off the air.

Sunday Night Heat

May 16, 1999

Sunrise, Florida

Two superstars that will battle for the Tag Team Championship next Sunday at Over the Edge met in singles competition on HEAT, as X-Pac took on D'Lo Brown, accompanied by Ivory. As D'Lo recovered in the corner from a Bronco Buster, Ivory entered the ring and slapped X-Pac across the face! As the referee disqualified D'Lo, the Chicago native attacked the degenerate from behind, nailed him with the Sky High and stomped him before walking away.

Shane McMahon and the Corporate Ministry marched to the ring so that Shane could make a few announcements. First Shane announced a "warm up match" for Stone Cold Steve Austin, ordering the Rattlesnake to take on Triple H on RAW just six days before the champion defends the title at Over the Edge. Turning his attention to The Rock, Shane said the "Great One" is forbidden from wearing his cast at Over the Edge. Further, The Rock will take on the Undertaker on RAW in a Casket Match!

In tag team competition, Droz and Prince Albert took on Gangrel and Christian of the Brood. As the match got underway, Ryan Shamrock, who hasn't been seen in weeks, walked down to the ring, distracting Droz. Gangrel seized the opportunity and dropped Droz with a Russian legsweep, and then went over and attacked Prince Albert. As the referee tried to separate Gangrel and Albert, Edge entered the ring, picked up Christian on his shoulders, and dropped him onto Droz! The referee turned around and the Brood got the win! Ryan walked back up the entranceway and high fived Terri Runnels, Jacqueline and Meat before Droz and Albert chased them off. Apparently Ryan has found a home with PMS! Meanwhile, Dok Hendrix made his way to the ring and confronted all three Brood members. The lights went out and when they came back on the Brood (yes, the Brood) was the victim of a blood bath. Up on the entranceway, Dok stood with the Hardy Boyz!

In a Hardcore Match, the Road Dogg took on Hardcore Holly. Al Snow came out during the match with Head and Pierre the deer head-the Hardcore Title strapped around Pierre. Holly, who for weeks has been trying everything to get himself a rematch for the Hardcore Title, realized that Snow now apparently thinks Pierre is Hardcore Champion. Holly completely forgot about the match and was quickly pinned by Road Dogg after a pumphandle slam. Afterwards, Holly clobbered Snow with a chair, and grabbed Pierre and destroyed him by bashing him against a ring post!

Next up, Jerry "The King" Lawler interviewed Val Venis, who was still angry after being set up by Debra and Jeff Jarrett over the last few weeks. In fact, the Big Valbowski challenged the duo to a match at Over the Edge! His partner? None other than Nicole Bass! Val and Nicole have apparently come to some sort of agreement-"this is strictly business, not pleasure," Val insisted. Nicole promised Debra that at the Pay-Per-View next Sunday, "I'm gonna make chow out of your puppies!"

After D'Lo and X-Pac battled earlier, the other two superstars in the Tag Team Championship Match at Over the Edge, Kane and Mark Henry, met in singles competition. Trying to gain a psychological advantage heading into the Pay-Per-View, D'Lo interrupted the match as Kane went for a chokeslam, and "Sexual Chocolate" and D'Lo double teamed the Big Red Machine. But X-Pac evened the score and the Tag Team Champions fought off the challengers-at least until next Sunday!

In what proved to be a very quick eight-man tag team match, the Union took on Too Much and D.O.A. The Union wasn't outnumbered like they normally are against the Corporate Ministry, so Mankind, Ken Shamrock, the Big Show and Test were without their 2x4s. The Big Show chokeslammed and pinned one of the bikers after just a few moments. After the match, the entire Corporate Ministry came out. The Union seemed to be in trouble without their equalizers, but Shamrock went underneath the ring and grabbed the 2x4s. The Corporate Ministry had been walking to the ring, but they stopped in their tracks when they saw the 2x4s, and HEAT ended in a standoff!

Sunday Night Heat

July 4, 1999

HEAT got underway with X-Pac and Kane taking on the Hardy Boyz, the duo that will get a shot at the Tag Team Championship on RAW! The Boyz knocked Kane outside the ring, and Michael Hayes attempted to keep him there. But the Big Red Machine fought off Hayes, got back in the ring, and chokeslammed Jeff Hardy. Meanwhile, X-Pac came flying off the second rope and hit Matt with the X-Factor for the pin! Nonetheless, the Hardys are still the No. 1 contenders for the Tag Team Titles, and after the match the champions, the Acolytes, came out and attempted to assault the Boyz. X-Pac and Kane helped fight off Faarooq and Bradshaw, with Kane delivering Bradshaw a Tombstone piledriver on the steel ring steps! Bradshaw was knocked cold!

Next up, the Undertaker came out and said he wanted "his" World Wrestling Federation Championship back! He challenged Stone Cold Steve Austin to a First Blood Match on July 25 at Fully Loaded!

The European Title has been unretired, and Mideon defended it on HEAT against Hardcore Champion Al Snow. Former European Champion D'Lo Brown came out during the match and, with Al Snow on the outside, entered the ring and delivered a Sky High to Mideon. Snow was disqualified, and he didn't like it, getting into a slugfest with D'Lo until Federation officials separated the two superstars.

Days after suffering a concussion, Test got a shot at the Intercontinental Title as he took on Jeff Jarrett (with Debra). Before the match, Terry Taylor interviewed Stephanie McMahon, who said her relationship with Test is private and her brother Shane should stay out of her life! Back in the ring, Test lost his concentration when he saw Joey Abs at ringside. Test grabbed the Mean Street Posse member, dragged him over the ringrail, and assaulted him. The referee called for the bell as the rest of the Mean Street Posse gang attacked Test!

Hardcore Holly was looking for a fight, so he went to the ring and called out anyone that was at least 6-foot-6 and 400 pounds! Viscera, 6-foot-8 and over 500 pounds, answered the challenge! After moving out of the way of a Big Splash attempt, Hardcore Holly grabbed a steel chair and clobbered Viscera with it. Holly grabbed the microphone and said he hadn't yet broken a sweat, so he called out Kane! Kane arrived and delivered yet another chokeslam to Holly-his fifth in a week. Then The Big Show ambled out, but before he got to the ring, the Undertaker came out as well. The Undertaker went in the ring and stood side-by-side with Kane, and the brothers stared down The Big Show, who was as confused as everyone else as he retreated to the locker room. Backstage, The Big Show told Terry Taylor that he is convinced the Undertaker and Kane are reunited, and he intended to go after both of them!

In a rather unusual tag team encounter, Val Venis and the Godfather took on Droz and Prince Albert. The rules stipulated that if Val and the pimp won, Droz and the Prince would have to be the Godfather's hos for a day! If Droz and Prince Albert won, they'd be allowed to pierce any part of the adult film star's body that they chose! After Prince Albert inadvertently hit his partner with the piercing and tattoo briefcase, the Godfather nailed the former Denver Bronco with a Pimp Drop and got the victory! Droz and the Prince will be the Godfather's hos on RAW!

The Road Dogg faced his biggest challenge to date when he took on The Big Show! Kane interrupted the match when he came out and chokeslammed the Road Dogg. It looked like the Big Red Machine and The Big Show would come to blows, but X-Pac intervened, convincing Kane to head back to the locker room. As X-Pac and Kane walked toward the backstage area, the Undertaker and Paul Bearer came out and stood at the entranceway. As Kane and his brother looked eye to eye, The Big Show stood in the ring wondering what in the world was going on!

Sunday Night Heat

July 11, 1999

With the Indiana Pacers failing to make the NBA Finals again this past June, the sold-out crowd in Market Square Arena finally got to see the Big Show as Heat kicked off live from Indianapolis. Convinced that the Undertaker and Kane had reunited and were now out to get him, the Big Show promised the Undertaker that his time would come the following night on RAW, but before Heat was through, Kane would feel his wrath.

Claiming that all their problems were a memory, the bond between the Brood appeared tighter than ever as the gothic trio took on the Big Boss Man, Mideon and Viscera. Edge connected with a spinning heel kick on the Boss Man and attempted to make the cover. Before the referee could make the three count though, Gangrel jump in the ring and hit Edge with an "Impaler!" The rift between Edge and Gangrel has been ripped open and the Corporate Ministry grabbed the victory. Moments after the bell, Gangrel was seen leaving the building on his own.

Nothing Al Snow does should surprise us anymore. But no one ever thought that he would trick the SuperAstros’ Minis into having a Hardcore Championship match with him! The minis temporarily held their own against their full-size opponent, as they found one of the more creative ways to use a pair of salad tongs! Realizing they were overmatched though, the little guys scattered back to the locker room after having some fun.

God’s voice sounds a lot like The Rock. Well, according to The Rock that is. The most electrifying man in sports-entertainment addressed his situation with Mr. Ass by playing out a conversation the 1999 King of the Ring had with the most electrifying person in heavenly entertainment.

Afterwards, Mr. Ass was unfazed by the comments from the People’s Champion and said it was all about jealousy. In an interesting side note, Chyna—who was alongside Mr. Ass—told Terry Taylor that the car Road Dogg and X-Pac allegedly vandalized last Monday night was not even hers.

Even though he is no longer required to ride on the ‘Ho Train, Droz still elected to compete in a dress this week on Heat. Along with Prince Albert, the confused New Jersey native went up against the Hardy Boyz for the Tag Team Titles. This match didn’t have long to develop as Val Venis and the Godfather came down and launched an unrelenting assault on their holey enemies. It was only slowed down after Matt, Jeff and Michael Hayes brutalized the player and the pimp for getting involved.

Once again, Shane McMahon and the Mean Street Posse were on hand to watch—and then destroy—Test. The man who has been romantically linked to Stephanie McMahon in the last few weeks was just gaining momentum in his match with Mr. Ass when Shane sent in the pit bulls to attack. Even though The Rock came down to take care of Mr. Ass, Test was still grossly outnumbered—and then Ken Shamrock intervened! The World’s Most Dangerous Man has a number of issues he’d still like to iron out with the McMahon men, and ortunately for Test he was ready to start on Heat.

Before either Kane or Bradshaw made their way to the ring for their no-holds-barred match, Hardcore Holly declared himself "guest timekeeper" for the much-anticipated showdown. The Big Shot watched on as these two huge superstars took advantage of the stipulation by using the announcer’s table, the ring steps and chairs. Holly was the deciding factor though. The Big Shot leveled Bradshaw over the head with one of the chairs, and the Kane hit with a Chokeslam getting the easy pin. Keep in mind, Bradshaw is still feeling the affects of the concussion he suffered thanks to receiving a "Tombstone Piledriver" from Kane on the steel steps one week ago. Following the bell, Kane went back to his favorite hobby, Chokeslamming Hardcore Holly. The Big Show lived up to his threat though! The world’s largest professional athlete walloped the Big Red Machine with an over-sized wrench as Heat went off the air!

Sunday Night Heat

July 25, 1999

Marine Midland Arena, Buffalo, New York

Sunday Night HEAT was live from the Marine Midland Arena, the site of Fully Loaded, just one hour before the Pay-Per-View! Val Venis took on Joey Abs in the opening match, but it was practically a three-on-one affair with the other members of the Mean Street Posse standing at ringside. Test ran to the ring and annihilated Rodney and Pete Gas. Inside the ring, Val finished off Joey with a variation of a running powerbomb. After Val got the three count, Test grabbed a steel chair and looked to gain revenge on Joey Abs. But Rodney and Pete recovered, grabbed chairs of their own, and ran off Test.

After the break, HEAT took a look back at a few of the highlights that made DX such a popular and influential faction. Then Jim Ross interviewed the Road Dogg and X-Pac, who explained that it’s not about money for them, it’s about living the DX lifestyle. On the other hand, Jerry "The King" Lawler interviewed Mr. Ass and Chyna, who said Road Dogg and X-Pac could keep the DX name as long as Chyna and Billy Gunn could take the money!

Meat had been "used" backstage by Terri Runnels and he was exhausted. But he still had to battle the Godfather in singles competition on HEAT. Meat clearly wasn’t in condition to compete, and he was defeated after a Pimp Drop. Terri Runnels was not happy after the match, and she grabbed a pitcher of ice water from the announce table and poured it down Meat’s trunks!

Jim Ross conducted a very candid interview with Triple H. HHH said he was the only one punished for his actions at Madison Square Garden four years ago—when he went out to the ring to "say goodbye to his friends." Triple H said he’s been waiting since then to finally get his shot—and he’s focused on getting that shot at SummerSlam.

Next up, Christian took on Viscera! Viscera used his distinct weight advantage to overpower the youngster, but Gangrel came out and spewed his red viscous liquid into the eyes of Viscera! Christian was able to roll up the blinded Corporate Ministry member for the victory!

Minutes before Fully Loaded got underway, Jim Ross interviewed Stone Cold Steve Austin. The Rattlesnake was attacked from behind by the Undertaker, thrown against a concrete pillar, and busted open once again! Shane and Vince McMahon could be seen grinning as HEAT went off the air

Sunday Night Heat

August 1, 1999

Perhaps the most destructive duo in Federation history, The Big Show and the Undertaker, appeared as HEAT got underway. The superstars declared that no one can stop them, and they can take whatever they want in the World Wrestling Federation. The Undertaker said that the only thing left for other superstars to do is "go straight to hell, where we will be waiting on you." Suddenly the Acolytes came out and said the Federation isn't about the armaggedon; it's about ass kickin'! The Tag Team Champions suggested that if the Show and the Undertaker were looking for a fight, they'd be more than happy to give it to them!

Michael Hayes insisted that the Hardy Boyz start from square one, to the chagrin of the former Tag Team Champions. But the Boyz begrudgingly took on Funaki and Papi Chulo on HEAT. The Boyz and Hayes exchanged words during the match, and again afterwards once Jeff got the pin with a DDT-like maneuver off the top rope.

After Terri Runnels had "used" him backstage, an exhausted Meat took on Edge in singles competition. Edge finished off the ladies' man with a spear and downward spiral. Upset that her man had lost once again, Terri Runnels forced Meat to get on his knees and kiss her feet! Meanwhile, an upset Jacqueline walked away in disgust. As Meat and Terri retreated to the locker room, Federation cameras picked up Gangrel and Christian together in the crowd taking in the action, suggesting that Christian had aligned himself with Gangrel.

Pi$$ed off after D'Lo Brown had interrupted when he took Ben Stiller to "obedience school" on RAW, Jeff Jarrett challenged the European Champion to a title vs. title match on RAW!

Before Chaz and Prince Albert were scheduled to compete, Terry Taylor interviewed the New Jersey native backstage. As Chaz spoke with Taylor, the Prince walked by and grabbed Marianna in an inappropriate place. She slapped him and when Chaz realized what had happened, he attacked the piercing and tattoo artist. After being examined by a doctor, who told him not to compete, Prince Albert made his way to the ring and made some rather insulting comments about Marianna. Chaz sprinted to the ring and assaulted the Prince, but a huge man dressed in white attacked the New Jersey native from behind. The Prince and the man double teamed Chaz and left him laying. Then Prince Albert grabbed Marianna and planted a kiss on her!

Duffel bag in hand, Steve Blackman made his way to take on Mideon. But the match never got underway as the "Silent Assassin" systemically destroyed Mideon with several weapons in the duffel bag. Federation officials were finally able to escort a badly beaten Mideon back to the locker room.

Responding to an earlier challenge, The Big Show and the Undertaker took on the Acolytes. Faarooq and Bradshaw worked together and garnered the advantage over the two big men, but eventually the Undertaker got his hands on a steel chair and it was lights out for the Tag Team Champions. Faarooq and Bradshaw lay unconscious as a smiling Hardcore Holly appeared and stomped the fallen duo. The "Big Shot" patted the Undertaker on the back as if to say "job well done," but the Lord of Darkness nearly responded by assaulting Holly. Fortunately for the "super heavyweight," The Big Show stepped in between and cooler heads prevailed. Although the Undertaker and The Big Show lost by disqualification, they seemed to make their point as HEAT concluded.

Sunday Night Heat

August 8, 1999

Joe Louis Arena, Detroit, Michigan

Less than a week after winning the Intercontinental Championship, D'Lo Brown defended it on HEAT against Val Venis. Just as the match got underway, Jeff Jarrett came out with Debra, and joined Michael Cole and Kevin Kelly for commentary. Jarrett insisted that his loss of the Intercontinental Title was Debra's fault, not his. Jarrett said he wanted a rematch, and he was going to make sure D'Lo held on to the title until he got one! Just then, Jarrett jumped in the ring and blindsided Val Venis, causing a disqualification. D'Lo and Val double teamed the Tennessee native, who retreated to the locker room with Debra, his mission accomplished.

Carrying his chihuahua Pepper, Al Snow came to the ring for an interview with Kevin Kelly. Snow said that Pepper has helped him finally get some rest, and now he could focus once again on the Hardcore Title. He challenged the Big Boss Man to a match at SummerSlam. The Cobb County native came out immediately to answer. He said that at SummerSlam he was coming after not only Al Snow, but Pepper as well!

Two weeks before her Women's Title match at SummerSlam, Tori was in action on HEAT! Tori was able to pick up the victory after a powerslam. As the SummerSlam challenger celebrated after the match, Ivory attacked her from behind, knocking her out with the Women's Title. Ridiculing the recent segments that have shown Tori in body paint, Ivory took out a permanent marker and wrote "slut" and "skank" on her opponent!

The Tag Team Championship was on the line as the Acolytes defended against Kane and the Road Dogg. The D-O-double-G emerged from the back first and was attacked by Faarooq and Bradshaw. Road Dogg was nearly unconscious when the Big Red Machine finally made his way out. So it was a two-on-one affair until Hardcore Holly came out! Holly acted as if he was going to take Kane's side, but after being tagged in, Holly stomped away on his supposed tag team partner! It was total chaos in the ring, and the match ended in a no contest.

Next up, the Godfather was scheduled to take on Prince Albert. But the Pimp said he had kicked the Prince's ass enough, and he wanted a piece of the big white "Pillsbury dough boy" who had been attacking him the last few weeks. That very guy made his way out, and he, Droz and Prince Albert ganged up on the Pimp until Val Venis and Chaz evened the odds!

Once again Terri Runnels had used up all of Meat's energy, but once again Meat nonetheless had a match. This week, his opponent was the Big Boss Man. The Hardcore Champion was easily able to defeat Meat, who clearly wasn't competing at 100 percent, after the Boss Man countered a huricanrana attempted into a powerbomb.

The Rock provided guest commentary for the Mr. Ass vs. Undertaker match. While Mr. Ass lay close to the commentator's table, The Rock said he would provide a little preview of what we can expect at SummerSlam. He got up and pummeled the 1999 King of the Ring. But The Big Show came out and floored the "Great One" with a clothesline. As HEAT went off the air, the Undertaker and The Big Show were attempting to annihilate The Rock and Mr. Ass!

Sunday Night Heat

August 15, 1999

With one week away from SummerSlam ’99, Jim Ross introduced the number-one contender to the WWF Championship—Chyna! The Ninth Wonder of the world stated she capitalized on the opportunity Commissioner Shawn Michaels gave her, and that she could care less what Triple H thought about it. She stated she had a message for Stone Cold Steve Austin—at SummerSlam, she would rip off the Rattlesnake’s "soft spot" and stomp on them if it meant getting the gold!

With Gangrel and the Hardy Boyz stalking the locker room, Edge and Christian took on Papi Chulo and Funaki. As both teams fought on the steel entrance ramp, the Hardyz and Gangrel came up from under the stage and attacked their foes! It was a three-on-two disadvantage against Edge and Christian…and the brothers were annihilated by the new alliance. Later, during a commercial break, the trio announced they were the new Brood!

Claiming it was time for all his critics to say hello to "Da Blue Guy," the Blue Meanie headed out to the ring to earn some respect against Al Snow. After giving Pepper to Michael Cole to hold, Snow went hardcore on the Meanie! After beating the Meanie with a Texas Cloverleaf, Snow refused to break the hold. However, the Meanie’s longtime associate, Stevie Richards, made his debut and floored the former Hardcore Champion with a "Stevie-Kick." Reunited, "Big Stevie Cool" and "Da Blue Guy" dumped Snow to the outside and celebrated in the ring!

Next up, two of the biggest monsters in the Federation locked horns as the Big Show battled Kane. Giving up some 200 pounds to the Big Show, Kane was able to floor his opponent—until Hardcore Holly hit the ring! After assaulting the Big Red Machine, Holly made the mistake of getting in the Big Show’s face, which earned him a chokeslam. Following a commercial break, Holly asked the Big Show if that was the best he had, and claimed he will get his payback at Show and the Undertaker on RAW!

With Meat apparently well-rested, Terri led her man to the ring against Jeff Jarrett. Taking his aggressive streak to a new level, Jarrett pummeled his foe on the outside. However, when Meat got on the offensive, Debra had her cue to come to the apron. Halfway up, Terri got in her face—which bought Meat the opportunity to hit his nemesis with the Meat Grinder for the win! Obviously outraged at the outcome, Jarrett blamed Debra once more and backed her into the corner until D’Lo Brown made the save.

Claiming his war with Test has become extremely personal, Shane McMahon had a proposition for his nemesis. Shane challenged Test to a "Lover Her Or Leave Her" match at SummerSlam. If McMahon wins, his enemy would severe all communication with Stephanie, but if Test were victorious Shane would stay out of their business! After coming to the entrance ramp, Test accepted the challenge and told Shane SummerSlam would be his last fight!

In a bout reminiscent of "David vs. Goliath," X-Pac battled the Undertaker. Prior to the bout, the Acolytes joined Kevin Kelly and Michael Cole for color commentary and told the world it was only a matter of time before they took back their gold. Back inside the ring, X-Pac was able to stun the Phenom with an aerial assault, but the Undertaker quickly defeated the degenerate with a Tombstone Piledriver! This brought out the Big Show, who annihilated X-Pac with a chokeslam. After Kane chased their SummerSlam opponents from the ring, HEAT came to an end as the Acolytes attack the champions!

X-Pac with a bronco buster on Mosh, but Thrasher breaks it up. More double teaming by the Headbangers, and a two count by Thrasher. X-Pac powers out of a chin lock, and both men tag their partners. Kane cleans house once again, and goes for a missile dropkick. All of a sudden, the Dudley Boyz knock Kane off the ropes, and start pummeling both teams. D'Lo now tosses Jericho to the outside, and catches him with a suicide dive. Back in the ring, Jericho catches a dropkick as D'Lo dives from the top rope. Jeicho now controls the match for a while, but is caught in the corner, enabling D'Lo to get a second wind. After a flying body press, and legdrop, D'Lo nails the Sky-High.
