featured an opening segment with Jim Cornette in the arena in which he said he wasn't going to do commentary with Jim Ross out of spite for having to be in Peoria; included Gordon Solie hosting a segment of the Wrestling News Network in which he predicted the NWA World Title and NWA Tag Team Titles to change hands at least once in 1990; featured the Brian Pillman vs. Cactus Jack match from Worldwide with a crucifix at 5:48; featured Woman as a guest of Terry Funk's Grill in which she refused to see Norman's painting, with Funk kicking her off the set; included a closing promo by Cornette on Bobby Eaton facing NWA World Champion Ric Flair during The Main Event:
Tom Zenk pinned Galaxian II with a dropkick from the middle turnbuckle at 10:17; during the bout, Jim Ross announced that Teddy Long would unveil the new Skyscrapers and that Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson would return on WCW Saturday Night and that Arn Anderson would face NWA TV Champion the Great Muta the following week
Arn & Ole Anderson defeated Jack Victory & Rip Morgan (w/ Lord Littlebrook) at 13:26 when Arn pinned Morgan after hitting him behind the referee's back with Littlebrook's cane; during the bout, it was announced NWA World Champion Ric Flair would face Bobby Eaton on The Main Event and that Norman would present Woman his painting (the debut of a new look for the New Zealand Militia)

featured a Wrestling News Network segment hosted by Gordon Solie in which he made mention of the return to the NWA by Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson, said the date and location for the next Clash of the Champions and pay-per-view would be soon announced, and that Kerry Von Erich had left Dallas, Tx and could soon start negotiating with the NWA; Solie then noted Steve Williams' mindset was off but he could achieve major success if that changed; included the NWA World Champion Ric Flair vs. Eddie Gilbert match, shown in full, from the 12/14/89 taping in Peoria, IL; featured Kevin Sullivan as a guest of Funk's Grill in which Terry Funk questioned Sullivan's recent attack on Norman during World Championship Wrestling, during which Sullivan said Norman shared some of the qualities of Dory Funk Jr. and Funk claimed the attack on Norman was like kicking a helpless dog:
Steve Williams pinned Brodie Chase with the Oklahoma Stampede after the 7-minute mark
Arn Anderson pinned NWA TV Champion the Great Muta to win the title at 13:17 with the DDT after lifting his knees to block the moonsault, despite interference from Sawyer and Dragon Master who appeared ringside early in the match; following the commercial break, Jim Ross conducted an interview with Anderson regarding the title win, with Sawyer & the Dragon Master confronting him and Sawyer challenging Anderson for the following week and Anderson agreeing

featured Gordon Solie hosting a segment of the Wrestling News Network in which the date of the Clash of the Champions was announced, with Solie saying more details would be released on WCW the following day, and that Sting would challenge NWA World Champion Ric Flair at Wrestle War on Feb. 25; Solie then congratulated the Destruction Crew for their Pro Wrestling Illustrated Rookies of the Year award; included Cactus Jack as a guest of Funk's Grill regarding Cactus' debut in the NWA, during which Cactus said he would rather hurt a man than love a woman and didn't know why the NWA was giving him bad tag team partners; featured the announcement that Doom, Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson, NWA Tag Team Champions Rick & Scott Steiner, the Road Warriors, Dan Spivey & Mark Callous, and NWA TV Champion Arn Anderson would be in action on WCW and that Sting would face Mr. Asia and Morton, Gibson, Shane Douglas, & Johnny Ace would face Bobby Eaton, Stan Lane, Michael Hayes & Jimmy Garvin on The Main Event:
Norman pinned the Italian Stallion by blocking a sunset flip and hitting the sit-down splash at 6:12; during the bout, Kevin Sullivan joined the commentary team, insulted Norman, and said the only reason Terry Funk hangs around him is because Norman reminds Terry of Dory Funk Jr.; it was announced during the match that more info about Woman allegedly trying to recruit NWA World Champion Ric Flair would be released
NWA US Champion Lex Luger pinned Eddie Gilbert at 8:56 in a non-title match after catching Gilbert coming off the top and dropping him throat-first across the top rope; prior to the bout, the commentary team said Luger had plans to either face Flair at Wrestle War in Sting's place or to beat Flair for the title before the pay-per-view; during the contest, Flair cut an insert promo regarding Luger challenging him
NWA TV Champion Arn Anderson defeated Buzz Sawyer via disqualification at the 12-minute mark when the Great Muta and the Dragon Master attacked the champion after Anderson hit the spinebuster on Sawyer; after the contest, Muta sprayed green mist into Anderson's face, with Ole Anderson then coming out to make the save until he too was triple teamed; moments later, Muta and Dragon Master held Ole down as Sawyer hit the top rope splash; Arn eventually covered Ole's body as Sawyer, Muta, and Dragon Master left ringside

featured an ad for Wrestle War 90, to the tune of the Wild Thing rap; included a Wrestling News Network segment hosted by Gordon Solie in which he discussed the upcoming Clash of the Champions and Wrestle War main events, announced the CWA and USWA had merged, and discussed the recent passing of Haystacks Calhoun from diabetes; featured footage from the 1/20/90 Worldwide in which Road Warrior Animal and NWA Tag Team Champions Rick & Scott Steiner were beaten down by Doom, Mark Callous & Dan Spivey; included Sting as a guest of Funk's Grill in which Sting said regardless of whether he or Ric Flair won at Wrestle War, the world title would still be with the Horsemen; featured the announcement NWA US Champion Lex Luger would face Steve Williams at Wrestle War and that The Main Event would be preempted Sunday:
The Samoan Savage (w/ Sir Oliver Humperdink) pinned Robbie Idol at 4:38 with a headbutt off the middle turnbuckle; prior to the bout, Steve Williams cut an insert promo on facing the Savage at the Clash of the Champions; after the contest, Savage threw Idol to the floor
Michael Hayes & Jimmy Garvin defeated Ranger Ross & the Italian Stallion at 6:11 when Hayes pinned Stallion following a double DDT behind the referee's back
NWA World Champion Ric Flair, Sting, & NWA TV Champion Arn Anderson defeated the Great Muta, Buzz Sawyer, & the Dragon Master via disqualification at 16:08 when Muta sprayed Sting in the face with mist as Sting had the Scorpion Deathlock on Sawyer; during the match, it was announced Anderson would face Eddie Gilbert the following night on World Championship Wrestling and NWA US Champion Lex Luger would face Tom Zenk the following week on the Power Hour; after the bout, Muta, Sawyer, & Dragon Master beat down their opponents, with Sawyer hitting a top rope splash on Sting before the three left ringside

1/23/90; Greenville, SC; Memorial Auditorium

featured a Wrestling News Network segment with Gordon Solie in which Solie discussed the upcoming main events of the Clash of the Champions and Wrestle War, during which Solie predicted NWA World Champion Ric Flair, Sting, & NWA TV Champion Arn Anderson to win because of the recent absence of Gary Hart; included Arn Anderson as a guest of Funk's Grill in which Funk asked Anderson whether he was siding with Flair or Sting leading into their Wrestle War match, with Anderson saying they were both winners and the title would be with the Horsemen regardless of the outcome; featured the announcement that Mil Mascaras would be in action as well as Flair, Sting, & Anderson the following night on World Championship Wrestling; included a closing segment where Jim Cornette joked that he would quit after learning the following week's show would be in Marietta, GA (Cornette's last appearance as co-host):
Doom defeated the Italian Stallion & Keith Hart at 3:47 when Ron Simmons pinned Hart following a clothesline off the top as Butch Reed held Hart in the air; during the bout, it was announced NWA TV Champion Arn Anderson would face Bobby Eaton on The Main Event; Jim Ross made mention that, despite the masks, most fans had a good idea as to who the members of Doom were; after the contest, Reed threw Hart to the floor
Ranger Ross pinned Joe Cruz with the Combat Kick at around the 8-minute mark after Cruz botched a leapfrog; during the bout, it was announced NWA US Champion Lex Luger would not face Tom Zenk later in the show, as previously announced, but NWA World Champion Ric Flair would face Zenk in Luger's place; it was also announced Luger would appear in Funk's Grill at the Clash of the Champions; during the bout, the crowd booed when either man kicked out of a pin attempt (the bout was joined in progress)
NWA World Champion Ric Flair pinned Tom Zenk at 16:29 with a roll over and grabbing the tights for leverage; mid-way through the bout, Woman and Nitron appeared ringside

1/30/90; Marietta, GA; Cobb County Civic Center

featured Gordon Solie as the new co-host of the show, replacing Jim Cornette; included a Wrestling News Network segment with Solie in which he discussed the events of the Clash of the Champions and then announced Shane Douglas & Johnny Ace and Brian Pillman & Tom Zenk had advanced in the NWA US Tag Team Championship Tournament; Solie also announced that the Road Warriors would face Dan Spivey & Mark Callous in a streetfight at Wrestle War and then discussed the upcoming NWA World Champion Ric Flair vs. Sting match at the pay-per-view; featured a promo by the Road Warriors & Paul Ellering regarding their upcoming streetfight against Spivey & Callous; included a Funk's Grill in which Terry Funk announced he would no longer be hosting the segment because he was moving to the syndicated Worldwide show; Funk said he didn't want his replacement to be good and then listed all the bad attributes he wanted his replacement to have; moments later, Jim Cornette appeared, with Funk offering him the job, giving him the mic, and walking off; Cornette then cut a promo on his own Louisville Slugger segment (the final Funk's Grill); featured a closing report by Ross in which he announced the Horsemen had attacked Sting outside of the wrestling ring, further assaulting the injured leg he sustained at the Clash; Ross said another special report would air the following night to update the fans on how the injury will affect Wrestle War:
The Great Muta & Buzz Sawyer defeated Zan Panzer & the Italian Stallion at 7:06 when Sawyer pinned Panzer with the splash off the top; during the bout, Jim Ross announced Sawyer recently filmed a segment for the Arsenio Hall Show which would air in late March; Ross later spoke about Kevin Sullivan perhaps managing Sawyer
Dan Spivey & Mark Callous (w/ Teddy Long) defeated the Galaxians at 4:39 when Spivey scored the pin following the powerbomb; after the bout, Spivey distracted the referee while Callous walked across the top rope and hit an elbowdrop on the pinned Galaxian
Sting defeated Jack Victory (w/ Lord Littlebrook) via submission with the Scorpion Deathlock at 13:50 following the Stinger Splash

2/12/90; Rainesville, AL

featured a segment of the Wrestling News Network hosted by Gordon Solie in which Solie predicted Lex Luger, the Road Warriors, Norman, Ole Anderson & NWA TV Champion Arn Anderson, and Brian Pillman & Tom Zenk to win their respective matches during Sunday's Wrestle War; included NWA US Champion Lex Luger as a guest of the Louisville Slugger in which Jim Cornette asked him about his thoughts in subbing for Sting at Wrestle War against NWA World Champion Ric Flair; moments later, Flair, Ole, Arn, and Woman came out; the segment then jumped to Ole giving Luger an ultimatum to back out of the match by the end of the program or suffer the same fate that Sting received; another jump in the footage showed Jim Ross conducting a podium interview with the Horsemen following an apparant Flair & Arn victory, with Luger then coming out to give his answer; Luger then punched Flair, Arn, and Ole in the face and ran off; featured the announcement that Doug Furnas would appear the following night on World Championship Wrestling:
Norman pinned Hacksaw Higgins with a splash from the middle turnbuckle at 4:54; after the bout, Norman fought off an interfering Cactus Jack until he was attacked from behind by Kevin Sullivan; moments later, Sullivan held Norman down while Cactus hit an elbow drop from the apron to the floor
Michael Hayes & Jimmy Garvin defeated Paul Drake & Larry Santo at 8:23 when Hayes pinned Drake with the DDT; prior to the bout, Brian Pillman & Tom Zenk cut a promo on facing Hayes & Garvin
The Road Warriors (w/ Paul Ellering) defeated Doom at 12:39 when Road Warrior Hawk pinned Butch Reed following the clothesline off the top after shoving Ron Simmons off the top to the floor

2/22/90; Atlanta, GA; Center Stage Theatre

featured a Wrestling News Network segment hosted by Gordon Solie in which he ran down the results of Wrestle War in which he said Buzz Sawyer, NWA TV Champion Arn Anderson, NWA Tag Team Champion Rick Steiner, and Ricky Morton all suffered injuries at the show; included Kevin Sullivan, Cactus Jack, & Sawyer as guests on the Louisville Slugger in which Sullivan named the group the Slaughterhouse and said it didn't matter who they were facing, they would sent people to the hospital; featured a closing announcement that Tommy Rich would face NWA TV Champion Arn Anderson the following week:
Cactus Jack (w/ Kevin Sullivan) pinned Keith Hart at 5:37 following an elbow drop from the apron, over the guard rail, to the floor
The Samoan Swat Team (w/ Sir Oliver Humperdink) defeated Paul Drake & Bob Cook at 6:38 when Fatu pinned Cook with the splash off the top; during the bout, it was announced Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson would face Michael Hayes & Jimmy Garvin the following night on World Championship Wrestling, NWA World Champion Ric Flair and NWA US Champion Lex Luger would comment on their match at Wrestle War, and that Terry Funk and Wahoo McDaniel would comment on their upcoming appearances in Amarillo and Midland, TX, respectively, as guest referees
NWA US Tag Team Champions Brian Pillman & Tom Zenk defeated Michael Hayes & Jimmy Garvin at 14:48 when, moments after Jim Cornette appeared ringside, Bobby Eaton & Stan Lane attacked Pillman on the floor as Zenk was double teamed inside the ring; during the bout, it was announced NWA Tag Team Champion Scott Steiner would face NWA TV Champion Arn Anderson on The Main Event; after the contest, Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson made the save against Hayes & Garvin while Pillman & Zenk fought off Eaton & Lane

Brian Pillman defeated Bam Bam Bigelow (w/ Sir Oliver Humperdink) via disqualification at 6:49 when Bigelow caught Pillman coming off the top and threw him over the top rope to the floor; immediately after, Pillman jumped back on the turnbuckle and hit a missile dropkick and continued to attack Bigelow until the show cut to commercial
