featured an opening segment showing footage from the WrestleMania VIII Press Conference, hosted by Gene Okerlund, to announce who would face WWF World Champion Ric Flair at the event; prior to the announcement, Flair, backed by Bobby Heenan & Mr. Perfect, stated he would beat whomever his challenger is at the show; after Flair, Heenan, & Perfect walked off, Okerlund introduced WWF President Jack Tunney who mentioned each of the possible challengers in attendance - WWF IC Champion Roddy Piper, the Undertaker, Sid Justice, Randy Savage, and Hulk Hogan; Tunney then named Hogan as the challenger to face Flair; as Hogan spoke to the press, Justice - visibly upset - walked off; included Sean Mooney interviewing Savage after the press conference in which he said he wanted the shot but wished Hogan well; Mooney then interviewed Justice, who blamed Hogan for his not winning the Royal Rumble and argued Tunney's decision; Justice then said Hogan couldn't beat Flair on his best day but Sid himself could; included the announcement that Hogan & Justice would face Flair & the Undertaker, Savage would face Jake Roberts, WWF IC Champion Roddy Piper would face the Mountie, and WWF Tag Team Champions the Legion of Doom would face the Beverly Brothers the following week on Saturday Night's Main Event; featured a vignette promoting the debut of Papa Shango; included Sensational Sherri as a guest of the Funeral Parlor in which Sherri admitted she had found the man of her dreams and it was Shawn Michaels; Sherri said Michaels never needed Marty Jannetty and that Ted Dibiase had allowed her to leave but she was always welcome to come back; featured the announcement Jannetty would be in action the following week following the attack he sustained from Michaels (Jannetty did not appear):

included the announcement of the following WrestleMania matches: Jake Roberts vs. the Undertaker, Tatanka vs. Rick Martel, Owen Hart vs. Skinner, and Davey Boy Smith vs. the Berzerker; featured an 'Update' semgnet showing last week's incident between Roberts and the Undertaker in the Funeral Parlor; included Gene Okerlund interviewing WWF World Champion Ric Flair & Mr. Perfect in Flair's dressing room, with Flair revealing for the first time that Miss Elizabeth was Flair's lover before she met Randy Savage, even showing a photo of himself and Elizabeth by a swimming pool which would be included in an upcoming issue of WWF Magazine; Flair then said that the only reason Elizabeth was with Savage was because Flair dumped her; it was announced Flair would show more photos the following week:
