In 2008. Dragon Gate ordered a new ring shipped from America to use while touring for their Summer Adventure Tag League II. Their first show using the ring, at Korakuen Hall no less, a weld is discovered to have broken. The ring is now useless untill it can be repaired, but the doors have opened, the audience is waiting for the first match. Instead of cancelling the show, the decision is made to have the show take place without a ring! The wrestlers and even DG office staff gaffer tape the foam and canvas to the floor of the arena and the show happens without a ring, ropes, or corners.
