The Road Warriors fought Terry Gordy & Jimmy Garvin (sub. for the Samoan Swat Team) to a no contest in a steel cage match when Michael Hayes came out, attacked referee Tommy Young, and opened the cage door to allow the SST to attack the Road Warriors; moments later, Road Warrior Animal was handcuffed to the ropes as the Freebirds and SST busted Road Warrior Hawk open; Hawk was later taken backstage on a stretcher
